its better to admit you cant handle all the things you've taken on than to struggle on i'd say....

pineapple makes you happy was the reason i suggested it innit...

well in september i was doing 28 units of graduate school and working 30 hours a week, trying to start a non profit animal rescue, and working on 3 films. not to mention all the stuff you have to do to maintain a household etc .. now i've quit my job and dropped my units down to 12 and am only working on one film (theoretically) but every tiny tiny tiny thing makes me overwhelmed. i get like 200 emails a day, its fucking uncanny. right now i need to go grocery shopping and somehow that has set me into freak out mode when normally i would love going to the farmers market.

what is it about pineapple that makes you happy ? besides it tasting delicious
wow..it sounds like you keep yourself busy....again ive just got a full time job and organise events (the one im working on now will be a huge job) but i know where youre coming from.....i had a real down day when i wanted to stay in bed all day but i HAD to go & flyer in various places and couldnt even find anyone to assist me...that was a horrid day....but often i find things like the washing up an impossible task...

pineapple just seems to make me happy...how can one be unhappy eating it?:)

you sound like an amazing person with so much to offer....good luck!

you're the only person that thinks that :p (but, thank you ! so do you :))

i thought you were going to say that pineapple causes a chemical reaction in your brain (like how chocolate is an aphrodisiac)

promoting sounds like a draining unfulfilling job, but if it's for your own event i'd imagine thats much different. throwing events is a lot of work without much pay back, at least out here, but it gives a lot of people somewhere to enjoy themselves and be happy :).

i used to keep myself entertained in the office by playing make believe games. i would pretend i was being held hostage and forced into slavery, or that i was a poor peasant doing shit work for ends meat so i could feed my starving children

although thats not that far from the truth, either. sadly

Wow... I haven't reached that level of boredom yet lol..

I find usually when im feeling overwhelmed and shitty and all that, its just my attitude at the time, not actually to do much with the circumstances...

Attitudes fix up over time.. Just do somethin that takes your mind off things

yeah processing medical records all weekend in a hot office by myself has got to be the most boring job i've ever had. yet somehow i never felt bored. i just dont get bored. my brain has too much going on

certainly it's my attitude, what i do with the elements that are handed to me.

the same could be said for boredom too ;)

Yeah I guess it's just the Monday mentality. Wouldn't it be ace if you could do a different job each week?
