Hi there,

We're I Hate Fun, a blog started around a year ago originally based in Glasgow, Scotland and more recently London.

We have had an extraordinary year and have been graced the opportunity to meet, talk and hang out with some of the most inspirational people.

As a token of our appreciation to everyone whose helped out we teamed up with some of our favourite producers and compiled a Zip entitled 'A YEAR OF FUN'

On the ZIP we have tracks from S-Type and Bamboo Palace (LuckyMe) ¥oin and Lockah (Tuff Wax) and a few more thrown in there.

This is our little way of saying thanks to all the promotional help, interviews, artwork, mixes, club nights, tracks and anything else that kept our readers coming back.

Thanks,

Team I HATE FUN

Hello, used to lurk here a long time ago when i first got into producing, took some time away from forum and came back properly, I'm from Middlesbrough in the UK and a drop out of the music technology course at the college here.

tracks that got me hooked on the genre (dubstep) way back when, funhouse, cockney thug (remember rusko used to be good?), markomen - wormz.
Dont mind the new the new stuff, Think Figure has a massive future ahead of him, Excision did a few crackers before, but the latest xrated album wasent his best material :(

Dont really understand the whole Skrillex/Dubstep fued to be honest, not a huge fan of sidechaining but fair play to the lad he's put out some good tracks, and some good awful tracks.

I use Reason and Fruity, I'm also hoping to colab with other forum goers on a track too.

Reading this far also qualifies you for a free hug, to be collected at your discretion.

Well, I'm new, and I'm old(30), and I'm Black, and I have become infatuated with dubstep for maybe the past year and a half now. I have tried my hand at making some tracks and I can say is well, they suck. But hey, practice makes perfect...right? Check out my channel on whotube, and let me know.

As far as artists are concerned, I like:

Rusko
Kayplex
Skrillex
Bassnectar
Killa & Instinct
Borgore
