Zeds Dead - Rude Boy, all the remixes
Akala - Shakespeare (Buchan remix)
I'm not ashamed to admit that I like Red Lipstick by Rihanna either. top tune imo
I like Subscape but his stuff is not really bro. Apple Candy is just a gem
just listing pop tunes here tbh

I guess The Others counts as bro right? Love pretty much all of his stuff
and I definitely have a soft spot for Emalkay - Fabrication, and Addergebroed - Don't Panic is just so catchy
oh, and Boston Cream by 16bit

I always liked earlier Rottun stuff, but anything that has come out in the last year or so is pretty crap.
Datsik - Against the Machines
Downlink - Station Six
Excision & Datsik - Swagga
Liquid Stranger - Jolt
These all still get played quite a bit by myself.

I don't count "when I look at you" as brostep, but since others do, I guess that

I LOVE Fabrication.
But my super guilty pleasure is that Skrillex In for the Kill / Hips Swing remix. It's a tune.

Yeah for me it has to be when I look at you, I personally think it has that little something more than most "brostep".

This! He makes some really beautiful tunes, but they're definitively brostep.
He's got a great masterclass too
EDIT: Most of the Dub Police artists are my sort of "guilty pleasure" I guess...they're brostep but I like them. Yeah Emalkay's another one.

and this is based on your knowledge of the dubstep?
Re: Brostep / Skrillex and the Forum.
...Which brings us full circle to address those who'd try to increase the ism-schism bullshit (as far as trying to claim which subgenres are no longer part of dubstep) -
Think of the following classic dubstep artists who've been around pretty much from the beginning or beyond; Vex'd, Burial, Loefah, Kode9. What do they have in common? Not much, honestly, including everything from tempos to overall vibes. Bassweight and a little darkness.
Then ask yourself again: why does the claim to a new name matter so much?
