i need to get into djing eventually and put some local nights together, to get my tunes out there. my friend use vinyl ( i am 30, hes the same, haha) and he also has traktor scratch. the traktor is a nice setup but it seems a bit glitchy and unstable. what advice would you guys give on some gear to get up and running with new school ones and twos? curious what the 'industry standard' or scene standard is over there....thanks boys...

that said, anyone in the us want to buy a native instruments s4 for use with traktor?

Just to elaborate on this so your understanding of turntables is a little better Sonika.. 1200s are a silver colour whereas the 1210s are black. Hence why Wub said if they're technics they'll be 1200s not 1210s. They look silver, not black.wub wrote:The facepalm emoticon is not a cuntish reponse

Yeah I like the idea of not burning CDs all the time. I guess I'll be looking at putting together a sorato or tractor setup. That seems to make the most sense for me at this point. I do not own real decks so I think this would be a good place to start.
