Really like the breakdown parts of your tune but the bits with the high synthy lead ting don't really feel like they sit with the rest of the song to me, when it drops into it it feels really unnatural and grates a bit, sorry dude! @ Paravrais: Not really digging the sound of your synth but you did some fine things with it, Bass is proper in the mix. Maybe pump up clap a bit more, but I think that's personal preference.

Last track that I've finished, I'm not totally satisfied with it so some changes are comming up!

I do like some brostep, and this is in the direction that I like. I liked the variety of sounds in there, and the actual bassline. The drums didn't punch through as nicely as they could I reckon. Track keeps moving nicely and stuff. Very Datsik, which I guess what you were aiming for! Nice little edits in there too, need those. I understand that people love this sort of dubstep, and so in a way maybe I'm not the person to be giving you feedback. THat primary drill sound, and most of the harsh sounds, me no likey. It's just too much, it's like standing next to a construction site... I prefer the wobbly synth, it has a nice texture and can give melodic sounds. Not that tracks need "melody", but anythign is melodic compared to drills and such.Saharadubstep wrote:

Production wise, I reckon the drums need to punch through a bit more, they are a bit lost back there, I think that would make this track stand up a little more. I also couldn't get much sub coming though, which is important even with so much mid range.
Apart from the drums and bass I would take my comments as a personal taste issue
allright, i just started making dubstep and i know my drums suck haha! but i think it's just what u like to hear!

@Wikum: I really like this introduction, and the drums sound very nice, it all sounds very nicely produced. When the bass enters it is somehow a bit flat, maybe that's just soundcloud. I like the extra percs added as the track goes... I think what really makes this track is that arpeggio melody - it's awesome. The break also has great atmoshpere. I reckon if I could hear the bass properly this track could be epic. Nice job!
@ponte_ricky: Nice piano chords there, and the strings and pads sound great. ANd the piano melody that comes in is also very nice. And the vocally sounds that come in later. Very nice! it's a nice piece on its own, but vocals could also fit well.
@Instigate: I like this - this is the kind of midrange sounds I like. Lots of attitude, and the drums are great! And I love the flute melody. I like the sinister edge. Nice incidental sounds too. Great!

, just kiddin - on your track i liked the buildup intro , drop was gooood man . i was unsure about the bass but i decided now that it's fitting although you could play around with it abit more. Overall good production
