I knew I shouldn't have read it.

It's overrated - the bloke who popularised jogging died of a heart attack.
Well if you're saying that, I'll just stick to my ways.
As you were, gentlemen 8)

Further evidence if any was needed;

Reading half marathon runner dies after collapsing at finishing line

2.5hrs for a half isn'ta world record beating time by any stretch, not like the man was pushing it.

Think im going to sort out a place in the garage to do some weights this week. Feel like I need to build up my upper body strength again to help out with my riding but I dont fancy paying £35 a month for a squat rack, set of weights, chin up bar and a mat for pressups/situps etc

Sucks being back at square one though :( fucking injurys.

Not necessarily, though it might mean your body is getting used to the program you've been on. Ideally you should be switching up every 6 weeks or so to keep the muscles guessing.

"Train harder" should never been the answer anyway, if you're not already training at your hardest (within reason, of course, considering rest and nutrition are more important) you've gotta rethink what you're doing fundamentally.

But yeah, I'd take a break after 8 - 10 weeks for a week or two and start a new routine.

Finally got warm outside, so time to go running again. sick of working out at home. Though I did find a decent gym that's pretty close to where I live, so I might start going there.

its sweet man, anyone that is serious about getting fit and strong should look in to it. High intensity work outs are the way to go

I really need to exercise/work out. Don't have any idea how to start or actually keep myself motivated.
