Man has wildly successful, record-breaking playing career at club after being considered a bit average when he turned up, wins trophies/doubles leaves to a standing ovation, years later (with the club not having won any silverware since his departure) has statue erected outside club then finally returns and scores on first game, celebrating with a hug for the manager that made him who he was?
Yeah, boring.
Football has a strange habit of blinding people to fun; it's a nice story. If Beckham went back and dug Man Utd out of a hole by scoring a freekick it'd be just as romantic.
I could appreciate that if it was in say, a cup final, you haven't won anything since he left, comes back, wins you a cup.
Not vs Leeds in the FA Cup 3rd round.
We only have him for two months. Not until the close of the season.
Therefore, It's our moment - let us have it.
(I was there btw - sitting in the Clock End.)

It won't happen.
Citeh - 22nd Jan
Liverpool - 6th Feb
Newcastle - 11th Feb
Arsenal - 26th Feb
Man Utd - 3rd March
Everton - 10th March
Stoke - 17th March
Chelski - 24th March
Swansea - 31st March
The next two months will be killer for their squad - and that's WITHOUT any injuries.
If they get one or two big ones, they're shagged.

Saw him hiding in the crowd at the Arsenal game the other day. Stewards should have refused to let him in

Speaking of stewards, I met a steward at the North Bank (block 4).
Man, she was the most beautiful steward I have ever seen.
Mid-20's - Strawberry blonde hair. Didn't catch her name.
We got chatting about first games, (I had my little bro in tow)
she said she used to love the vibe at Highbury - It was like I was in
fucking Fever Pitch. I'll try and find her next time I'm at a Home game.
There's also a fitty at the Armoury, she looks greek.
Rosamund Hanson style haircut. Pretty too.

Really need to start putting the effort in to get to more games. Only been to emirates once this season for the 1-1 with Fulham and that was a shit performance
Lucky charm! Please go to the rest of the games this season.
HAHA... I had the same thought the other day.
I'm desperate to get a ticket for the Man Utd game...
Ticket Exchange has nothing, and @Arsenal_Tickets is throwing nothing either.

What are the chances of us all managing to sort tickets for the same game? That'd be a great day out, tho..
Otherwise, we should sort out a pub sesh at some point when there's a big game on!

I'm going Milan away! That's gonna a sick one. San Siro looks like a mad stadium, might have to get some flares in. Took a flare up to Wigan once my mate was gonna set it off if we got the winner but we drew 2-2 and he bottled it and did it in the car park after instead lol. Apparantly you get banned from every stadium and can go jail, so not really worth it in the grand scheme of things.

Cardiff fans were letting off some at Selhurst Park on Tuesday. Dunno if anything got done.

O2 priority is a good way to get tickets but they always put you in the upper tier

Fuck sitting with the Gods.
I'm a Clock End/North Bank Lower kind of guy. I like being able to
cheer, and being close to the pitch.
Sat in the west stand for the QPR game and got shushed by a guy
for cheering. I was so jarred. Promptly told him to fuck off and
leave me to watch the game. The guy next to me was playing Angry
Birds for the whole first half - In the second half, he didn't bother
coming back.
