I'd eat it out of politness but I wouldn't be asking for seconds!!
My mum loves beetroot and grows fucking tons of them, I've tried them cooked in just about every way possible they always taste like mud!
I used to hate celery but I've started coming round to it recently.
Pickled onions are also a bit rank but I can hack the little ones you put in cocktails.

I really hate anything pickled. Actually, not sure if I hate it more than I can't eat or stand next to somebody eating as the smell makes me nauseous.
Mint chocolates. Absolutely disgusting.

Pickled Eggs are great. More than two and I start to feel abit odd though.

fuck I didn't even know people pickled eggs. that sounds even worse than onions.
also, scotch eggs and pork pies.
most english food, especially cold stuff, is spartan.
