you don't need to mix to be a dub selector mate, just get a decent echo pedal to fill in the gaps and practice flipping records as quick as possible

Brocked well at brockwell park at the weekend. Max Romeo was quality, Natty was pretty good too.

I was gonna come down for that, what was Cornell Campbell saying??

Diego - There's a real range of delay pedals available, digital ones are normally a bit cheaper but analogue will sound better (imo) check ebay/gumtree for second hand ones. Space/tape echo pedals are your best bet but anything with a long decay time is irie.

Might be disrespecting Jah here, I've only ever used effects pedals for guitars. Would you just jam it between the deck and the mixer, or the mixer and the amp?

Is it as simple as DECK >>> JAH PEDAL >>> MIXER >>> AMP?

I use the FX loop on my mixer atm, gives me a little more control with the wet/dry mix. I've got my dub siren plugged straight in to a delay pedal and it sounds pretty good.

If you haven't got an FX loop I'd recommend going Deck > Mixer > Delay/Echo > Amp that way you can apply the delay to both decks.

Was listening to the Forest Swords mix from time ago the other day, and ever since this has been in my head, had to pick it up. Barrington is such a G.

Just the CD, I would fucking love the vinyl though.

A few of the original tunes were reissued by Jah Guidance with the Scientist dubs on the flip if you want them on vinyl.

Not exactly dub (rocksteady, really), but Dreader Than Dread by Honeyboy Martin is a percy :Q:
