I've been making electro house, kinda like knife party...but i'm skeptical to post that on here because it is a dubstepforum after all...but to answer your question, yes. It's actually pretty fun if you ask me.

I make quite a lot of 4x4, most of my tracks have a broken structure tho.

honestly dont we already have 1000 threads for that kind of music? this one was supposed to be the one where we can all talk about music that does NOT sound like skrillex/deadmau5/david guetta/lady gaga or whoever else is popular with teenagers at the moment.
the existence of this thread is beneficial to all forum users, we jaded grumpy headz can circlejerk in here about music that fascinates us without having our jimmies rustled by squeaky noises, massive wavetables and sidechained saw chords.

i dont wanna come across as rude just bear in mind that a lot of people might find this a tad inappropriate for this thread.

I read this as: 'I don't want to come across as a rude bear.' Infinite amounts of funny business.

I know people have their own tastes in music, but I dont know how you can like Techno, and not like ANY house. I kind of see house and techno go hand in hand, well some kinds of techno, obviously the more hard stuff and none 4/4 is a bit different, but some of the grooving 4/4 techno, is very much like house really.
