Sounds like Task says Johnny Cash in the show. Didn't realise he got on a countrystep vibe towards the end of his career.

I thought it was a Mala tune but on listening back Task even says it's by LoefahPhigure wrote:baddis98 just spotted an (unknown?) loefah dubplate in the may 12th, 2005 mix. does anyone have any clue at all what it's called?

Didn't D1 give away a LOT of tunes?leyenda303 wrote:D1 tunes I can remember Yunx playing:
Enigma - 03/04 2-step dub. Still gets played regularly in his old skl sets. So old that I doubt it'll even be given away at this point
Veto - tribal sounding dub
Deaf - kind of atonal, creepy sounding dub
Boiler - given away as a freebie
Crack Bong (Loefah Remix) - very much still a dub
Degrees - released
Higher State - still a dub
Steam Roller - released
I Believe - released
Cocaine - released
Firin' Blanks - released
Foundation - released
Greazy - released
And at least a dozen more I don't know the name of. For the top three I think I've done tracklists with them all in so search which mixes they're in if you wanna hear em.
I think my favourite youngsta D1 dub is sub zeroleyenda303 wrote:D1 tunes I can remember Yunx playing:

The copy that is in one of the D1 freebies packs sounds ok if I remember correctly. That and especially Boiler were the gems out of that sweet selection he gave away.mashmash wrote:I think my favourite youngsta D1 dub is sub zeroleyenda303 wrote:D1 tunes I can remember Yunx playing:

I was so happy when it got released on that 116 and rising compilation but it sounds like it was mastered terribly. dunno if this is the case for everyone else
It was in this thread, might need to do some rummaging near the end.dirt wrote:I must have missed a freebie then because I don't have Sub Zero. Anyone RE UP?
