Hi alls! My first post here. No, its not a wobble question
Trying to recreate the lead tone from Peverelist's Junktion.
(starts at 0:14)
Been messing about with some subtractive VA's without getting anywhere close. So I'd be glad to get any suggestions on how to get this type of sound.

I'm a newbie and I really need your help.
I am not asking about the main bass. At 1:04-1:06 there is this sound that seems to have this very deep wobble. I would like to achieve a similar effect. Any ideas?

If its deep and wobbles a bit, its most likely a deep LFO sub bass.
It's not very hard to do.
Massive: 1 OSC: SmoSquare Wt position: all the way down to the right. Filter: Lowpass 4 with a little bit of LFO.
Hope this helped buddy I'm sorry if it wasn't correct.
Good luck young dubz padawan!

Yeah. it sounds like a kick thrown into a granulizer to me. In regards to doing it in reason, you might be able to achieve that effect by cutting just a snippet of the attack of a heavy kick and making and loop infinnitly so that it holds and sounds more like a synth. I would try that and then add an effects chain with some reverb, some distortion and whatever else helps.

Ahhhh, just using one of the samplers? seems like a good idea ill give it a go, I never have never really done anything like this before, the results could be interesting . How do i go about pitching the sample to a C note (I am not good with pitch)?

Well I'm not sure how that's going to work just because it depends on the note that the kick sample hits at. I would worry about getting it sounding good first. Maybe experiement on seeing which note sounds the best, THEN sample that note held for a while, and then from there you can figure out what note that is on a scale. But I would be more concerned with getting it sounding right before I try to figure out what note it is personally.

At the top of the sequencer window it should say the note, just move it until it sounds rights, come to think of it, you can probably adjust it in the nnxt just make sure to change the end time of the sample and loop it, you can do at the bottom of the blue screen in nnxt

Hey I'm wondering how I'd go about making this reese sound (see 1:53 on wards for a good example) that High Contrast used in alot of his old tracks
I've tried making it myself detuning saw waves (as well as other waveforms) like a traditional reese but it just dosn't seem to have the same texture at all, would the post processing be key to this? or am I going about the sound design all wrong? its probably really simple haha
The Synth at 0:55 - 1:01 is what I'm after. I always have such trouble recreating that style of sound.
Tips, Suggestions, Screenshots are all very much appreciated. Anything you can do to help me would be fantastic! I'm new to creating sounds so bear with me and keep in mind I'm quite the noob with NI Massive.
Thanks so much, I really need this sound to work off of!

If your using reason I've got a combibator patch that is exactly that, if not watch malleusdub's YouTube video for doctor p reasons ... It's using reason but the techniques can be applied to any synth
