yeah, I get a lot of that now.
It's really ridiculous how much scrutiny you come under for not drinking though - almost as if you are violating social convention by NOT drinking. When I look at it that way, I realise how fucked up society is and how ridiculous people's double standards are.
I was flipping through some Readers Digest's advice book a couple of days ago. There was a chapter about pretending to drink in social situations. Stuff like "ask the bartender for a non alcoholic cocktail, that looks like an alcoholic one" or "say it's rum with cola, even though you're only drinking cola" or even "use an empty beer can and fill it up with water"... just to mention in the end, that if you don't want to pretend, you can say that you don't drink. WTF.
Yeah ive had it happen, Its like people get wound up that I know where my limit is and know when to stop.
Also when raving safe I usually dont drink either but I know people that will bug the shit out of me to have one so I just get a coke and lie through my teeth
I actually prefer the cheaper beans to heinz so thats kind of odd.
Sausages. fuck those ones that are like sausage shaped mush like Richmonds or whatever they are called. Nasty!
Pomade. no shit hair products for me thanks.
Bedding. as someone allready said.
Tuna. John west or other brands only! keep the value stuff away from me.
Value bread can do one aswell.
Other than that Im pretty much a cheap bastard, I like nice rum but I can also quite happily drink £4 a bottle rum from Croatia or Morocco

You clearly haven't used 2nd grade bin bags.
They're thinner but serve the same purpose after all.

no, i get the bin bag thing, the thinner plastic stretches and rips, so annoying when you've got bin juice everywhere, always draw for the double-thick drawstring
poundshop/99p par has taught me that there are many things in life not worth scrimping on..

Bad bin bags are the bane of my fucking life.
I always gets the shits with the tie handles... they never rip and you've never got to touch anything remotely gross. One of my housemates (and I don't know WHICH ONE) buys the cheapest on offer in our local Tesco Metro... if you fill the bin over halfway, you can't pull it out without ripping them in two forcing you into a mid-kitchen double-bagging scenario that NOBODY NEEDS when they're late for work.
Truest bin bags, thou shalt not be scrimped upon.

Heinz beans are pretty rubbish compared to All Gold and Koo beans. Spar beans aren't bad either.. In Europe, the Carrefour discount range is pretty quality, even the Carrefour brand lager is decent, and I remember paying 4 Euro for something like 36 Carrefour lager in Marseille.

Batteries - Bought a pack of TEsco Value AA's that didn't even have enough amps/volts whatever to turn on a digital camera.
Duct tape - Wilkinson special. Almost impossible to get it to peel off in one strip, kept splitting all over the shop.
100% agree on the toilet paper though. Have you ever tried to clean up a drink with it? I swear one drop of water could saturate an entire roll. Complete shti.
