I usually drive my pals home so I'll only drink diet sodas. What's cool though, is that the bar where we hang out gives me half of my drinks for free and offer me coffee when we're about to move out, they're really supportive of sober driving. Cool place

This however is not recommended on a night out. Much better appreciated at home after a nice meal. Smoke quality hash with it - peng combination. Beware of the blackhole sleep it induces though

If you've tried Zacapa I can imagine you did change your opinion on rum, Diego Thing is after trying this it becomes difficult to tolerate any other inferior dark rum. As for light ones, they're good in cocktails but they smack you down reaaaally badly.

Nowadays my regular drink on a night out is gin tonic. In my home country it's generally considered to be a shit drink but it's incredibly popular here in Valencia, and actually I enjoy it quite a lot - very refreshing but most important, not sweet. I hate sodas in general 'cause they're so sugary.

I generally like sour/bitter tasting things, but really don't like G&T. Tried drinking it a few time never could drink the whole thing.

I like knowing my friends came home okay, so it really doesn't bother me. I also live pretty far from the place where we hang out (moved out few years back) so we usually share the gas money, cheaper for them than a police check (there is practically a blockade around town every friday night, I get stopped for alcohol tests regularly) and helps me out as well. when I do drink though I'm totally out of control. Numerous antics and people I have wronged can testify to this (I'm persona non grata in a lot of places). I usually roll on trappist ales first, then I'll go crazy and order whatever strong alcohol's cheapest.

Might sound like an obvious bit of recommendation but did you try it with a decent gin though? Makes all the difference imo. Beefeeter or however you spell it, Gordon's and such are shit. Try a Tanqueray or some Bombay Sapphire
