ive spent more time with the second album and i think that allows for more of the paradoxical euphoria thing to come through, like the chord progressions on Homeless etc are all about that vibe. the samples on untrue are a bit more sort of generic. first album is less straightforward & more difficult to find solace in imo. like the vocal cuts on Broken Home, too weird and awkward and bare for any sort of resolution to come out of it

yeah I could see that, but look at tunes like Forgive from the first album, I swear depending on what mood I'm in going into that tune I could either laugh or cry
