Yeah but realistically how many mates do you have that actually do this? My friends all tend to be very nice people, so this translates into their drunk persona too, in my experience the kind of guys who'd do the above to you when pissed would probably do the same to when sober, just maybe not quite as quickly.JBoy wrote:Although its rare for a pot head to get aggressive and glass you, then wander home and fall asleep in a puddle of his own shit, piss and sick. Re: The things that pissed you off today ™ thread
This is the most boring fucking sunday ever. I was supposed to go out and see a load of cool architects houses for the London open house weekend but it's been fucking miserable all day. Been stuck inside instead with my dad trying to convince me it would be a good idea to leave my job to do a fucking degree in business studies. Yeah great idea, stop making money, get into 3 years of debt and then not be back in work until i'm like 27.
And what fuck is 'business studies' anyway? Sounds like such a nothing degree

Aye that's true. I don't even really want to do a degree though. This is what hacks me off about my parents, even when I'm doing really well at work they can't seem to get over the fact I didn't go to uni and keep trying to push me into it, been like this for the past 4 years even when I'm absolutely smacking the sales through.dubfordessert wrote:you could do a degree part time, might be able to get your work to help out

yeah it seems odd that he would recommend it when you're doing pretty well now, better than a lot of grads from last year would be doing at this time, did they both go to uni? most of my older fam didn't so they're not too bothered about it, even tho about half of my siblings/cousins have gone. my uncle did maths to about uni level and has been a taxi driver all his lifedubluke wrote:Aye that's true. Yeah they both went to Uni though and they're a bit weird about the whole thing, they think it's the be all and end all. I can see the value of it obviously and I know it's great for some people but study was never my bag. It'll probably be worth looking into some sort of part-time course later on, a few years from now, just to give you an extra bit of edge when you start working in more senior positions. Will make it easier to move around jobs if you need to. Best would be to get the company to pay for the course.dubluke wrote:Yeah they both went to Uni though and they're a bit weird about the whole thing, they think it's the be all and end all. Fair enough, I'd consider it if it was actually going to have a tangible advantagekay wrote:It'll probably be worth looking into some sort of part-time course later on, a few years from now, just to give you an extra bit of edge when you start working in more senior positions. Gfs brother was given a whole Duck to make a dinner out of. Instead of a roasted duck or something like that,he's hacked it to bits and decided to make a Thai curry BUT there's no coconut milk (the base of all thai currys?!)so he's using regular milk.
Pretty sure the whole thing is going to be a mess. Such a waste of food

coconut milk tastes a lot different. suggest an orange or apple sauce with cinnamon for the duck.dubfordessert wrote:that is gonna taste... interestingJohnlenham wrote:Gfs brother was given a whole Duck to make a dinner out of.
