nice haha I couldn't tell if there was a mic there or not. I'm just on a USB mic but if you process the sounds/vox enough it almost doesn't matter the quality. How much did the pop filter run you? My school studio has a really really nice microphone but it doesn't have a pop filter so it's really annoying because there are pops all over the place

np karma make good stuff, it's gone up a bit in price since they gained some popularity but i can vouch for it
the se reflection filter is good, just i need a better boom stand to keep it setup all the time (bit heavy) and also it's a bit too big/awkward to have just sitting by my rack or desk
there's prolly some older pics of it all setup and in use earlier in this thread

like just ripped this from my fb

yeah I honestly can't justify shelling out for a better mic because I barely use the one I have, but it's good to keep in mind all of that

I think they modified the mounting hardware on that filter. I bought one, and it has the old hardware, fucking awkward man. I saw photos of them, and they have new hardware, and it makes way more sense.

As it is now, it is a pain in the ass. I've put crimps in my stands setting that thing up. It still wants to slip to the side every time. It is a real hassle. I don't know if a better stand will fix it. Kinda pissed about that thing.

yea the hardware is awkward on a standard stand, works fine on those huge studio booms
just don't have the room for one, as is on my standard i have to tape down the legs on my boom so it doesn't tip over in order to get it to a comfortable level

Jheeze. I'd have got a chair and put my speakers at the correct height (or at least flip them upside down to get the tweeters closer) before I bought a second monitor
Does it not drive you insane using a chest of drawers for a desk and having to sit on the end of your bed to lay a tune down?

I'd wall-mount the monitors (one up, one down) then put the speakers horizontally on the top of the chest of drawers personally!
Either that or just buy a fecking desk/table like a normal person. You blatantly got that rollerball because there's not enough space on your 'desk' for a normal mouse :D

actually i prefer trackballs over mice period
maybe when i have the luxury of a place with more space then i'll have the room to get properly setup
till then...

I will never again complain of not having enough room for my shit. Your studio sort of reminds me of tetris :6:
