How long does the Last of Us take? F**k paying £50 quid for 10 hours. I liked Tomb Raider and Uncharted but feels like 1 play through is enough and they didn't last very long.

That kind of game will drop in price pretty heavily once the initial hype dies out

Just bought Far Cry 3 for like £18, gonna get started on that as soon as soon as I finish this playthrough of Mass Effect 1-3.
After that it's either Tomb Raider or XCom, any suggestions?

XCOM Is one of the best strategy games I've ever played. Haven't played the new Tomb Raider, but it looks kind of like an over-produced Uncharted wannabe.

Bought To The Moon and System Shock 2 off GOG as they have sale on till 5th July.

Also got Abe's Odyssey and Exodus off Steam.

Bought the first Uncharted last week for a tenner. Completed it twice (normal and hard) in the space of five days without even all-out sessioning it. Would have been pissed if i'd paid full price.
Got Red Dead Redemption GOTY edition a couple of days ago for £18 - I can see it lasting me some time which i'm very happy about

red deads got a crazy long campaign and im still playing multiplayer off and on a year or so after beating it

rockstar made a bad, bad decision not releasing rdr on pc

imagine the mods the community would have made

makes me sad

I have my doubts GTA5 will be on PC either... they are debating it, so that means at the least it will be like a year or more after it's out on console. GTA4 was like a year after console as most of their money is made in the console market. Mods keep games alive for years, but piracy is rampant on PC so they are slowly moving out of that market

Holy shit, that was the most ridiculous/cringey ad video I've ever seen. I realise (hope?) it's meant to be a bit tongue in cheek, but that almost made me NOT want to buy a PS4.

Yeah definitely pleased with the investment. I wont be getting a PS4 or Xbox1 so i'm glad to hear you say it's got great replay value
