Left my house on time today for important appointment, street work road closed, one way street for 3 miles before I could turn off (and come back). Finally get to where I'm going on the freeway, exit is closed for no reason. Detour takes you to/through the airport. Can't help but feel that is a little extreme, getting me coming and going, universe saying don't go to that appointment.
