yes, forgot about Ayo Technology, and Crazy is a classic already imo. Aside from his claim that he invented dubstep I have massive respect for Timbaland (he produced Ayo Technology), I think he is a very good producer who always knew how to make the perfect pop tune regardless of whether it was the 90s, 2000s or even today... and he doesn't even make his stuff deliberately cheesy or pop-sounding either, it's just that quite a few of his beats are too good to resist

Yeah the almost dark, grooving, bumping style of beats that Timbaland produces are pretty cool

To be fair the May 25th mixtape is actually really good! I got really in to that and was all hyped about his album coming out and then it turned to be shit, he started doing guest verses for Jessie J and lost all of his credibility imo

Almost dark? The correct musical term is dusk, lad.

By the way, who would you say was the darkest producer (100%) and the lightest (0%) and where would timbaland's dusky beats fit into this spectrum?

I dont even like rap or rnb or pop or whatever , but i really enjoy Missy Elliot tracks. Gossip Folks, Lose Control, Work It, Get Ur Freak On, SupaDupafly, all tunes.
