i get it when you're like a teenager and get attracted to certain ideas, beliefs etc, especially if it makes you feel apart of a community or something, or it gets you attention (omg i'm totally not like the other kids at my high school). i get it, we've probably all been guilty of doing that at some point. i mean, if i was 16-17 now i'd probably have the most cringeworthy overly serious tumblr out there
but i think with time you kinda start figuring out what clicks with you and what doesn't.

think i mentioned this before, but i feel like now there's a whole trend of being politically conscious etc, at least around my endz. which is not necessarily a bad thing and i know some of them genuinely believe what they're saying, but ffs step off your high horse. congratulations you suddenly realised x thing that's been going on for years is bad; doesn't make you better than anyone else and you can't expect everyone to sympathise or even care. /rant

Yeah I was heavily into hip-hop and really a hip-hop head until I was 15 but I got sick of that group thinking mentality and I really soon learned that basically every subculture is the same way. Believes in the same shit, through the same means, etc. They're only different in the superficial shit. How you're supposed to dress/talk and what music you're supposed to like.

When people focus on serious social issues, though, I feel like it's a lot more disrespectful than people who don't care. Like people who claim to be against racism, but only use the issue to tell the whole world how non-racist they are. Cheapens the whole cause. Racism is a serious issue but then use their opposition to it as a way to gain some popularity among their peers. Yuck

Well it tastes like cough syrup. Costs £6 a bottle and has 15% ABV and as much caffeine as an energy drink. Probably is along the same lines as night train, mad dog or thunderbird.
