I'm really curious, was there a big language barrier between Spain and England for you?
Si.
Being an ignorant American, I honestly can't imagine living in a country with a foreign language. More than likely a Frank Gallagher waking up in France scenario.
Until I met the missus I'd never had to speak any Spanish. And when I moved here last month I couldn't even count to ten
I learn a bit more everyday, got a book to read on the metro and can practice conversation with the people in the office.

All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.

That's got to be a bitch. Honestly it's probably easier learning it that way instead of taking a class now that I think about it.

Not really, you get used to it and it forces you to adapt. Plus it helps with the different accents and slang words that you don't get in classes & textbooks.

Good turnout at my friends first DNB night. Hopefully interest continues to build. DNB's been practically dead for a couple years here in town.

Kinda hard to judge here. Apart from the dubstep/bass bi-weekly we run here there almost no electronic scene. People have been asking for more dnb events again so my friends trying to start a bi-weekly one as well, opposite weeks of the dubstep/bass night.
