@OgleMom: haven't heard that one

Barry Altschul has a cool musician's name
(bass-player in Chick Corea's 1971 band)
because he can release an album called Old School Altschul

lol yeah it's hard to explain. Its been stuck in my head for the past 2 months. The horns are the close to the ones used in the beginning of Dennis Brown's Promise Land. Just add the rhythm I tried explaining.

I think it's a mala dubplate. second note goes higher in pitch, but each dunnnnnn whole note drops in pitch.

Seen people complaining bare about prices on discogs, which is fair enough, but how many people, if they owned the record, would sell it at original price if the market value is £50? I know I fekin wouldn't and I'm one of the more reasonable dudes out there (needed some dough so sold that Kowton - F U All The Time 12" to somebody on here for £20, the average sales price on disco gees is around £30)

Basically, if I had a copy of Anti-War Dub that I wanted to sell, I'm not sticking it up for the £5/6 I paid for it and I doubt any of the hardcore vinyl warriors would do that either.

Discogs just perpetuates the myth of inflated vinyl prices...like that guy that has copies of Midnight Request Line for £999 or whatever.

It's more the fact that people just buy certain limited edition records for resale, you see so many limited edition mint copies for silly prices.

I honestly work with a bunch of children.
60 year old man that acts like a 2 year old.

Now there's random infighting about our staff dinner on Friday night.
This ones not coming because that one is, now they're both not coming.
So damn immature from adults.

Oh yeah, forgot about that! I'm like a reasonably priced vinyl angel. To be fair though, that was only because juno/redeye/etc. sent me two instead of one. I would've ripped you off to a reasonable level otherwise :lol:

The people that buy up copies to sell can go and suck their moms yeah, but no point screwing at somebody who's just selling it to get a bit of cash/get rid of their collection.

I sold Alicia for a £80 a few years ago, I really didn't expect it to sell for that, I was just trying to undercut those trying to sell it for over a ton.

Still undercutting folks though. Undercutting the idiots on discogs is the way forward with selling expensive stuff. You see people that will put up a DMZ for £300, you know it's never gonna go for that. You put it up for £80, people will move on it quickly.
