Leeds fest after work tomorrow, Then another weeks work, then New York then UNI. So Hype.

There are normally two columns of Coke in the work vending machine, but one of them never works - they've now replaced the working one with Coke Zero, so I've had to go for Dr Pepper. Not had a can of this in aaaaaages, it's fucking DELICIOUS.

I remember the first Dr Pepper I drank. I was 12 years old, shooting pool at the bar my grandfather tended bar at. My life was changed forever with that first sip. The cosmos shined down from above, a group of cherubs began playing Burial (He's actually a group of cherubs) and my heart exploded through my chest. It was magnificent, as if the world was truly in sync with the universe. Stephen Hawking patted me on the back that day (somehow). Just lovely.

I looked everywhere for the prawn sandwiches at the Emirates, all i could find was pies/burgers

diet coke tastes nicer than coke imo go for diet and lap up that aspartame goodness

Got all my study materials for my degree and found out my course starts a week earlier than initially thought.

Means I go down to 4-day weeks for a full time salary as of Oct 1st. Counting the days! 39, in case you were wondering...

Why yes, the airline I'm flying with does have a business lounge

Though regrettably I can't use it flying out to get sloshed as it's an 8am flight and I'll be going straight from the airport to the office, and on the way back I'm not sure I'll be at the airport long enough to appreciate it.

But fuck it, extra leg room when you're 6'2" is always appreciated.

plus they usually give you some sort of meal for free, if the flight is long enough

I just got a super cheap vintage Rollieflex camera, not very exciting but it made me happy.
