Problem I gots with Liquid Dub is if it keeps despratly trying to get an audience and be more commercialy friendly it might end up sounding like bonobo or ratatat

hehe
its a terrible term for music IMO but thats about the only thing i dislike in quests post! "liquid" dubstep will certainly stay the most interesting thing in 2009! the selection joker just posted on here pretty much nails it

just thought of a new sub genre... diarrhoea dubstep... it's liquid and solid AND it hits the right area of your bowel.
LET THE TERM BE SPREAD! all over the toilet seat

haha, chill. Everyone is treating "dubstep" as though it is their child. Sometimes children need to be set free from what you want. I'm sure they'll make their own way in life.
Imagine if you had a forum set up where people came and discussed how you should live your life.
We can't keep things exactly how we want them.. otherwise they will never have been better or worse. They will exist in a singularity of nothingness and then the universe could become unstable. Do you really wanna be responsible for the collapse of the universe? Perhaps yes..
Do you really want this musical movement to stop moving?

The thing is Bonobo and Ratatat exist for a reason, the music they make is different to dubstep. If it was the same we would be hailing them as nang dubstep producers, would we not??? Why then would we want dubstep to become like this knd of music when the two remain distinct for a reason!
