I'm fine with Midnight remaining a dubplate, but I'm not sure how much longer I can live without the Kryptic Minds remixes that Loe and Burial did together ...

Makes it more special when you hear Yunx drop it in a rave, knowing it might the be the last time in your life you're hearing it on a proper soundsystem !

This'll be the infamous Burial collab then? You got any info on these?

True, I've only ever seen Youngsta once and he dropped it on that night so that was cool haha. Idk, I think the tune would be less special if it got released eventually. I don't think it would have as much of a status as it does now if it was released in 2006 (not saying that it's not a great tune, it's one of my favorite Loefah ones).

Loefah and Burial remixed two Kryptic Minds tunes together. I asked Loe if they will ever see the light and he said ''maybe''

nah, i gotta disagree. just look at ruff lovin... people were saying the same stuff about it, then it got released and everyone wanted a copy even though it was old. i cant imagine anyone not going apeshit if midnight were to get released right now

Aren't you American Phigure? Just a heads up in case you're near any of the venues but I think Oneman is touring out there atm and there's a chance he might play his copy.

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.

Also, hot cross buns.

Cyrus is playing Midnight now too. I'm still convinced it will remain a dub forever though.
I would love to have it, but I'm pretty sure it would feel a bit weird, especially for loe, to release it now, don't you think?

going by what loefah said in the RA interview if he was to release a LP on DMZ i really think it'd have just new tunes. It just seems like it would the last thing he'd want to do (release old songs)

I thought it had been said before that Midnight will always remain a dub because the hard drive Loe had it on crashed or something, so there is no master copy? Can anyone confirm or deny this?

A number of dj's own the wav (yunx, oneman, ntype) so it would still be possible to press it

To be honest, I want an LP with new Loefah tunes.

I love old Loefah...but that's in the past.

Thats what i said a few pages back, A-side = new, B-side = old. Would be a perfect combo! I think thats more likely to happen than a release of just old tunes and i personally think it'd be better. Still unlikely though :(
