Okay so I've read the production bible countless times, played about with Fruity Compressor, Parametric Eq, Parametric Eq 2 and maximus for several hours on end. The problem is it
Feels like I've been getting nowhere . So I basically am asking if anyone could possibly listen to this track and give me some pointers/highlight what I'm doing wrong with regards to the mix.

Would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Repear: The voice samples seem out of time with the music. And at the drop, take out the synth that plays while the voice is, it overpowers it and the drop will hit harder that way. Some pretty good ideas ya got there tho
Xephex: Your kick needs more kick, throw some verb on there. Some of the flanged percussion sounds are cool, but some are just straight annoying (like at :48). Go lighter on the dist/flange for the bass, too. Effects are better used to compliment sounds, not dominate them (at least not for the whole song). If you tone back the dist, it'll leave more room to add other ideas/sounds to go along with the bass. Riddims are tight, tho.
Isturite: I didn't like the lead synth at the start much, sounds kind of cheesy. The arps have badman written all over em tho
So I had this idea for an intro. The side chaining at the end is gunna be the transition into the drop (its kinda rough, when I come up with the next part I'll smooth it over). I was also thinking about putting some chill vocals over the top of what I've got so far, or would that be too much?

isturite: just wanted to clarify.. it's the first of the two tunes you are talking about, right?
Think I need to invest in a sub...
cant make dubstep without one
Yes, I am starting to come to terms with that

So far I've been takikng fake comfort in my monitors being able to play relatively deep, but realizing more and more that I am kidding myself.

reaper got some pretty good shit going on, voice at the drop maybe a little pause to give the track some room to breaf but i really like what i hear. touch up on a couple things make sure not everythings mixing together
fluid i think if you took out the panning wobble. the intro would be alot more fluid(haha see what i did there) replace it with some thing a little more atmospheric? i love the beat and i think vocals could either make it twelve thousand times better or ruin it. but i like what i hear

still working on the kinks, but its for fawm so ehh whatever

@ fluidmoshun - love the lead man, the panning is pretty crazy in the beginning i like it dude.
@ oprs - pretty nice man, not exactly my style but i was grooving to it.
Heres my latest dubstep track....i may need to work on the bass a bit, but let me know what you guys think.

arisemprex - some funky sounds going on there, i like the middle eastern vibe with the synth!! You got the song sorted, i think u just need to fill out the sound with some distorted low bass under it all, and a bit more in the stereo department. good job dude
A quick warning to everyne. Dont listen to this if u take dubstep seriously!! Yes its the new britney spears track, but i felt i needed to get as much of her whining vox off the track and pump it up a bit. Didnt quite know where to post this but thought some people might enjoy it. If u wanna make a comment on it, please just bear in mind the sampling and composition aspect and not the fact it is HER song. Cheers

@nibzdub
I think you got a nice start going on there, I like the way it is panned, and I like the build up overall, though maybe start a little earlier with the drums coming in? Also I thought that snare needed something fattening up, so maybe at more layers for more ''oomph''. I liked the track overall, the thing what I personally would do is play around more with progressions and melodies, to spice it up a little, other than that I think youre track has some serious potential :].
@arisemprex
Dude, I liked it, but I thought it needed a bit more changes to the songs. Maybe a few breaks or different sounds to spice things up because I thought the track was pretty straightforward and could use some usage of different sounds, maybe also different melodies? Entirely optional ofcourse, I would personally say the track is perfect with some changes in the composition, but thats totally up to you man, in the end I liked the vibe you got going there, and I thought it was well mixed (Y).
@NICORISONE
I thought the clip was great, curious about the finished version, think it certainly has potential, but to really state my opinion about it; release the full track :p, everything so far was nicely done though, keep going.
These are random ideas thrown together. Sometimes sounding to chaotic, and not really properly mixed, I want to know if the ideas are worth anything in the ears of you guys since Im new to production, and if its possible to use them actually. Let me know what you guys think!

@jakedubber (double dare)-track was hella grimy! damn! just wish the pace was a little bit quicker, but those wobbles sound gr8.
@jamiecypher (clown on her)-its obvious you're srsly into comp, this track was mind-blowin. love the wood block sound.
sorry for posting feedback on some first page posts...i'll post more in a bit, literally havent been on da boards since 2010. i'd be surprised if ppl here remember me. but i have a track i started the other night for jokes...just wanted to use the sample. the mastering is still bad (due to laptop spkrs) but tell me what y'all think.

When I wrote it I was trying to capture that feeling you get on acid where it seems like the whole world around you is breathing. So I made a bass that could do that. Not sure if I want to relpace it, but I might tone down the effects a little to make it more atmospheric.
Your tune is pretty tight, I think you overdid the sidechaining a little in the intro. You should use less of it or more drawn out sidechaining until the main part. Vox were a nice touch
I never end up getting 3 feedbacks even though I always give more than 3 myself

feedback preez:

Always nice to receive constructive criticism from my peers. oprs, would you suggest adding a stereo enhancer to create more depth in order to separate it slightly? Thats the only solution i can come up with (Been producing for 9 months so i've still got so much to learn) I'll try to take something away from the feedback and apply it to my track. Thanks guys!
I didn't read the first post on this thread due to my eagerness to share my track. So ima give 3 feedbacks once i've worked out some of the kinks in my track

@oprs so where is the friendly advice? we all have to start somewhere. I can handle criticism because I'm still learning, but why say it that way? no one else is rude on here..

Have some courtesy and leave feedback for other people instead of just posting your tune up and bouncing. That'll help generate some better responses for one.
