Skrillex style kick

by DJ Freaxx
Hey guys,

I've been checking Skrillex out a lot lately, and I really like how his kicks sound. And seeing as creating kicks seems to be my main issue, I was wondering if anyone had anything on how to replicate his kicks, like the ones in Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, or Rock N' Roll (Will Take You To The Mountain).

Thanks guys,

Get Vengeance sample packs. Or any hard-house sample pack.

FL Wind Up Help

Does anybody know the easiest way to like wind up your bass in FL Studio? Kind of like Reso does in Technetium. I want to do it on my drop but just turning the pitch up doesn't sound right.

I would like to know how to make this reese sound. It comes in around 1:51. From what I can hear it's got a lot of exciter distortion on it and obviously some filtering and maybe some phasing, but I still cannot come up with anything remotely close.

You'd be better off looking this up on DOA (dogs on acid). There's a lot of neurofunk producers there, and most of the brostep producers learned all they know there too

Adroa specific sound

Hi all, I know it's my first post but i've been around the forum for awhile now. I've decided to create an account because i'm trying to produce.

It's now my first week in learning and I came up with a decent intro (I guess)

Here's the deal, i'm trying to make a sound that sound like :

Adroa - Six Four (at 30sec) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QH39XC3imtc&sns=em

I don't want to copy tha sound, just how do you guys come up with something like that?

Thanks guys!

I feel after a while of producing, youll start coming up with melodies/drops, itll come more naturally then. That specific part is repeated, I guess he would resample it. What this means is he made an audio file with the drop/sound, and he pasted it multiple times after each other in that tempo to get a repeating effect.

For me, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wk2yLXmHQ8 theres a part that starts at 0.40, which seems like a reaaal full synth. Ive seen the guys from explosions in the sky do it on guitar as well, but I wonder how you synthesize that sound. I have absynth, fm8 and massive, though not that familliar with the former two. any help would be great!

So, before i state my problem, be aware that im not asking this because i wanna use it in a song. I am making this sound purely for fun.

Now, i have watched Reso's Masterclass probably a dozen times, and when i try to make his war machine sound, it sounds nothing like it. I have the EXACT settings he does, still sounds nothing alike. I have experimented, but he must be using outboard effects. Any thoughts
