Hmmmm, the pad sounds like sampling, if you've got any string ensembles, experiment with layering that and a usual pad like some moving detuned saws :)The synth in the background at the end at 3:32 sounds like basic detuned saws with some chorus, little bit of vibrato, and a lot of reductive EQ, pretty sure he uses the same sub throughout the track, which is mono and isn't sounds a tad muddy, not very loud. Great tune man.

@ChadDub - Just listened to it and I honestly have no idea.
Can anyone tell me how to make a similar bassline to the one at 0:30?

Do you mean the reese bass? Just look up on DOA's the grid about reese basses, and how to process them. It'll take some time to learn, and many tries, so be patient with it

See if any of the heads on here got any ideas on how to get the famed Biome sound, i'm interested in all the sounds, but particularly the occasional reece bursts, at around 2:42/2:43 ish
Even any tips on the processing that i'm sure is involved

Can anyone help me make the beastly sound in this track around 0:26 please? It's the main wob throughout the song
I hear what I think is a pitch bend from low to high.
For the second note in the sequence definitely, theres a glide on it but I dont think so for all the others.. I think i hear a saw maybe 2 octaves lower, then a saw and a formant saw, with a a bandpass filter, then a notch in the mid to low ranges, does this sound close?

Jeez so many horrid sounds in here ha. Some great ones as well with no answers! shame. I'll give this one a shot. I'm making a roller and I wanna get closer to this bass. Any ideas on Fx to give it this specific tone. Stinkabell uses it in this track as well as Grimey with Supreme. Its so well....grimey haha. I must has.
Sound is the sound at the drop. Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know how to recreate the pad in this Porter Robinson song around 1:30. It obviously involves unison and a white noise generator at the higher frequencies and an untampered with mid synth, but I don't really understand how to make such a wide sound.

Alright, I need help with the bass in this song. I get close with compressing a saw wave in massive, but beyond that I'm clueless as to what else would be needed. FL user here, if that makes helping a bit easier. Another question with this song is the kick. It's obviously a compressed kick with a high pass filter (Unless my ears deceive me, at which point, chastise me for it) but I can't tell if the lower frequencies are coming from a lower end kick or if that's the saw wave doing it. Any and all help is appreciated, as always.
Thanks!

Hey hey. This is what I posted when I made a thread. Bit lazy of me, so apologies.
It goes thus:
Firstly, this is my first post, so hi everyone, safe as fuck for any help you can give
I love the really reverby sound to the mid bass in this track. I haven't the slightest clue how to approach making a similar sound. On a side note, this particular sound reminds me of a jungle/dnb tune from '96 called Fog by Decoder. I recommend.

Looking for advice on how to create the sub/bass used in this tune, as well as its distinct wobble. Using Abelton and Massive :/

Massive, Modern Talking wavetable. Automate the Wavetable-position.
