I know we should be focussing on the good and positive releases. But I'm disappointed with the new Becoming Real Album. Stand-out track 'Slow Memory' is really the only interesting bit for me. Andy Stott has announced a new album for October. That will undoubtedly score hight for me (Passed Me By / We Stay Together is still amongst my favourites of recent years). Worryingly, there are several tracks with female vocals on them apparently, which could go wrong as it often does.

Andy Stott is one artist who can do no wrong. I don't think he would use female vocals if he wasn't absolutely sure it was gonna work.

These two albums are marvellous; Shrines - Purity Ring and Andy Stott - Luxury Problems.

This could be my album of the year.

The Walkmen's new(est) album, Heaven has made it very near to the top of my 2012 list.

They've steadily become one of the best bands going without anyone really noticing.

Way Of The Samurai 2: Code Of Honour comp on Samurai Music. Didn't manage to listen to it fully yet, but it's got tunes from a lot of top names (Marcus Intalex, Clarity, ASC, Loxy & Resound, Consequence, Nymfo etc).

Really enjoying this album, it's a bit of a grower.
