even tho kryptic minds are/were huge, their tectonic stuff hardly ever gets mentioned, specially 768 / false flag remix

also loads of other tunes of tectonic tbh: pinch & p dutty's war dub, moving ninja stuff. original dungeon sounds imo

one blood one source (distance remix) - one of my all time favourites. those drums>>

and cyrus' album. never see it mentioned althought it's packed with big tunes

never say never! could be a pack of goodies on the way. also +1 on any track by cyrus, the originator. almost like he's been forgotten now...

Extinct was on their train wreck mix, still a fucking choon!
not sure if it's just because of nostalgia but this kind of *insert dungeon synonym here* still excites me. that KM b2b Yunx rinse show from september 2011 is still sick.

Some of the early 'dungeon' tunes used to be some of my favourite tunes, they really had an atmosphere and groove going on

thesis: dungeon eventually went the same alley as every other genre before it. people jumped the bandwaggon, it got formulaic and all of its soul got sucked out by some sub-par producers emulating sounds instead of creating new ones.

this
+ super clean & techy sound falls a bit flat imo

osiris cca 2009-2010 was absolute fiya tho. rubberman still goes off
not to mention tunes like moving ninja's blackout. if that tune was released post-2010 it would be considered dungeon. or pinch's war dub; that one's like the prototype for what sleeper & district are doing

talked shit on osiris lately, but i really started to warm up to their newer stuff. i really liked the label's output from 2009 up to pitch black/new reality. then they became a bit meh with the matt-u, biome, kaiju stuff IMO
and although i wasn't a fan at first, the label's output became way more interesting after they started letting their techno influences shine more. apart from hunter/snagglepuss and namaste ep everything they released last year is quality

Asylum - Zero Gravity VIP

Definitely up there as one of my top 5 tunes from the minimal mondays show since i started listening each week. Along with Trapped, Reflections (although he never plays this one anymore wtf), & Static Tension VIP
