Ok, on second watch through that was kinda funny. Reckon that watching it after a 3 day binge of The Wire might have set me against it a bit yesterday

in the watching season 2 episode 10 and I've got to say Ziggy may be one of the dumbest tv characters I've ever seen. He just fucks up everything

Yeah I got that part right and I really pity him but still... He's literally fucking up everything he touches.

Just started watching this through for the second time and it is still phenomenal. Probably enjoying it more this time round actually as I already know the characters and the plot so more of my brain is free to take in the subtleties.

omar always whistles that and sings it at one point, and at the end cheese (method man) gets capped thinking he heads everything, but is all alone
kind of like the foreshadowing of having the kid who shoots omar being the one imitating him in season 3 i think after that stash house robbery shoot out

ye shit it was Kenard who shot him, never clocked it was him imitating him though
'the cheese stands alone' bit, i duno, i wouldn't say its impossible that its linked, but its a tenuous one at best really

I like the evolutionary cycle at the end of S5. Dukie becomes the new Bubbles, Michael becomes the new Omar.
Weirdly, the only character who stays alive and maintains his integrity throughout is probably Slim Charles.
