Various countries claim to have invented it. I had mine at an Israeli restaurant but they probably stole the idea from their neighbours and claimed it as their own.
It's very easy to cook, google a recipe and give it a go. Very important to serve it with a massive hunk of good bread.

I had a BBQ and we had a whole rack of ribs and I even cooked it myself but we were so full up we didn't even eat little Mr Fishy the rainbow trout so that alongside the home-made potato salad will be my dinner for tonight.
BRAP!

Dapper!
my fav Mexican food is another breakfast dish called Chilaquiles con Pollo. You can have it with a red or green salsa and it is CRACKALAKING GOOD!
crisp tortilla, shredded chicken, sour creme, soft cheese, onion
Salsa Rojo/Verde - tomatillos (green tomatoes for the salsa verde) or tinned tomatoes (salsa rojo), garlic, coriander, jalepenos, oregano, lime juice.
I havent eaten this in about four years. I would happily sacrifice a small animal to have it again.

Looks bloody marvellous
I think i might move to Mexico after i get bored of Thailand. The food culture seems pretty fuckin exciting. I've yet to delve into real Mexican food just the usual Tex Mex things and a few authentic recipes i've got from the internet.
In about an hour i'm going to a Cajun/Creole restaurant for all you can eat Red Beans and Rice. I'm gonna be farting like a Gorilla in a Banana shop.

Dolsot Bibimbap: Various stir fried/seasoned veggies and strips of beef served on a bed of steamed rice topped with a fried egg and fuckloads of gochuchang[hot pepper paste].

Need to get me the special stone bowls though,it's all about the crispy rice pon the bottom.
