Re: Anyone wanna help me find more? DuBstep
Unfortunately I don't have anything to record my desktop with. If I did, then I would record my DAW with Massive up and show some of my presets, that way everybody could copy them. I'm not a big tutorial person, though. To be honest, I hardly know how to use Massive.Terpit wrote:Sweet, have you done any tutorials or anything?DJPontificate wrote:Eh, that post was merged from another thread. Quite funny, capitalizing on my honesty. Jokes on you: I don't need to know how to use Massive. I use my Skrillex and Datsik presets, then I slightly modulate them to make them mine.Electric_Head wrote:Oh we noticed.DJPontificate wrote: To be honest, I hardly know how to use Massive.

Trolling? I am literally telling the truth. Buy the NI Massive Skrillex and Datsik preset pack and you will realize that my synths and the synths in that pack sound almost the same.southstar wrote:You're attempts at trolling need to be betterDJPontificate wrote:. Re: Brostep - Part Deux!
Just seen these guys are playing before Kode9 and DMZ at URBAN NERDS next month.... how does kode9 follow a brostep set? Must be weird switch in the atmosphere in the room.

Re: Brostep - Part Deux!
That actually doesn't sound as bad as most brostep. Could kind of go with a DMZ tearout kind of thing. I have no idea how Kode9 could fit in with it, however.Lye Form wrote:

Re: Brostep - Part Deux!
it ain't the worst, tbh tho it sounds like eighty thousand tracks that've been made from amateurs to label releases
The sounds are rinsed and the drums are boring as fuck
as per kode following them, why not just change the atmosphere abruptly... it's like getting two types of rave in one night
sounds ideal to me

Re: Brostep - Part Deux!
Not so sure - I am not 'against' brostep at all. But its kinda annoying when so many nights are getting large doses of tinitus inducing nonsense included...Today wrote:it ain't the worst, tbh tho it sounds like eighty thousand tracks that've been made from amateurs to label releases

Re: Brostep - Part Deux!
Yeah I saw Skream and Plastician live a few days ago, their sets were mostly awesome (Request Line, Computation VIP, Mud, Scrooge's revenge, etc) but they just couldn't resist throwing in the old Skrillex. Honestly, the one with 12th Planet and Kill The Noise was pretty fucking good, but some of the others were literally painful.

Like all music, what is good and bad all depends on the subject listening.tatty_b_jangles wrote:Like anything, there's good stuff and then there's some absolutely chronic shite.
