It was good but not brilliant.

Just got back from this. Quality film. Similar to Little Miss Sunshine. I'd say 8/10.

This film is pretty fucked up. A young guy makes an armour suit and goes on a shooting spree through his town.
Considering the current news events it probably wasnt in good taste to watch this...

recently i have watched
La Haine - French movie directed by the skinny, nerdy bloke working in the porn shop in Amelie i.e her love interest. disappointing appearance in amelie as no polis got punched in the face but i digress... La Haine is a great movie. some real serious hate going on there (as the title would suggest)
I Love You, Man - big hollywood comedy type with the big one fae how i met your mother and that awkward guy that always plays a support role in movies like 40 year old virgin. it was actually pretty good. me and the missus found it funny at times. ending was baws though. feel good can go fuck itself.
Milk - wonderful biopic cataloging the life of Harvey Milk, gay rights activist and makeshift politician. sad story worth retelling now. basically gave gay folk the right to do what they want without fear of getting their heads caved in by scared white guys with too much jesus up in their minds.
Gommorah - cool as you like Italian flick about the way crime and the lower classes culture is essentially intertwined and dependent on one another. it makes a scorsese film look like sesame street.
tonight i will watch let the right one in with my girlfriend and relish in the fact she hates subtitles.

Watched Party Monster the other night was pretty good, liked the way it was filmed.

^watch the original mate. its in many ways superior not only to the remake but to 99% of science fiction cinema in general.
