I definitely agree and I think it is this realisation that has made me question why I am doing it. Overall, I think I lack any kind of external encouragement to keep going when I'm feeling fed up. I don't get much in terms of reinforcement outside of the confidence boost when I get good marks on an assignment. This year I've just been so low on motivation and my grades have so far suffered for it which in turn does more harm to my confidence and motivation. I think I have lost sight of wanting to make change and contribute to causes in the long term because this year I've just been interested in gaining more knowledge for its own sake and Amazon has been providing me with the means to do that far more effectively than an overpriced university course. I'm definitely no genius (I think to say that I am average would be a bit optimistic lol) but it would be good to have a bit more encouragement from elsewhere that I can achieve something in spite of that so I'm not reaching this point where I begin to think I'm deluding myself for thinking as much. Thanks for the reply though! I found myself agreeing completely and its given me a bit of a reminder of what I've lost sight of since last year.
