This was in my newsfeed at least 8 times in the past week.
Killing that skullcandy soundsystem.

"I thoroughly enjoy shoving large objects inside of my anus"- Porter Robinson. Fuck that kid, he's gonna shit on the genre that made his cockdrizzle sounds possible. Coki has more craft in his trash than Porter's got in his singles.Lye Form wrote:Robinson: (uk dubstep is) "thoroughly uninteresting, C-grade production."P Daley wrote:Tiesto, Skrillex, AND Deadmow five?Bloodstream wrote:This 19-year-old talent has been touted by his peers (read Tiësto, Skrillex and Deadmau5) as one of the nu-breed saviours of edm, and having only experienced the limelight for a short amount of time, his achievements paint the picture of a bright future.
Brb looking for fux2give.
i just avoid talking about music...most of my friends respect thatP Daley wrote:I see brostep as a full on different genre. It is, and the fact that people still call it dubstep's fucking stupid. Now, I will admit I don't hate brostep, some of it's good (Excision's a full tank of badass) but the generic scene it's launched in the states is embarrassing. Seeing kids blasting Skrillex out of subs (redundant am I right?) and wearing the "SEX DRUGS AND DUBSTEP" shirts embarrasses me, because then when someone finds out I'm into dubstep then they think I have a weird robot porn fetish and enjoy wanking my best friends in Hot Topic. I'm at the point where I just say "I listen to UK dubstep" because I'm sick of the generalization.
I'm giving crossbreed a try. I like hardcore and I like DnB, but the first track I heard "Ghetto Blaster" by The Outside Agency was kinda... idk just didn't gel with me.ultraspatial wrote:It all depends on what you think of brostep really. I see it as something different from dubstep, kinda like how I don't consider crossbreed a part of dnb.

I'm always talking music because I listen to all sorts and my friends and I regularly exchange music.ehbrums1 wrote:i just avoid talking about music...most of my friends respect thatP Daley wrote:I see brostep as a full on different genre. Yeah, rarely talk about music. No point really. It always ends up with somebody trying to convince to get into whatever genre I don't care about.ehbrums1 wrote:i just avoid talking about music...most of my friends respect thatP Daley wrote:I see brostep as a full on different genre. Them's fighting words. It's funny, I'm good friends with a few big metalheads, and one that I'm good friends with (only one that can proper destroy with a guitar) is actually considering working on an EDM track. Out of the three, 1 loves EDM, the other likes it, and the third fucking despises it.ultraspatial wrote:Yeah, rarely talk about music. No point really.
