We had a mini one (Kay/Jim/Bela/myself) last year for Iffayn Dafvid or however you spell his name...was a good craic other than the ridiculous bar queue the whole night.
Man dropped Bad Boys For Life as his last tune and I caught an elbow in the mosh that erupted

Hmmmm... that does look quite good, literally the only thing putting me off is the fact it's at fabric, put me down as a maybe

It's too big, shiny and corporate for my tastes and most of the clientele are 18 year olds going to their first "rave" just so they can tell their friends about it in class on monday morning.
Really I just like grimey little dives though, not corporate "superclubs"... but that lineup is VERY fucking tempting

Fabric's alright, but it's a "Superclub" and it knows it is. Expensive tickets, expensive drinks, aggressive bouncers and a crowd that have half turned up because it's Fabric on a Friday night and not because they've looked at the lineup.
You'll have a great time, but I find it hard to make the (cross-city

) trek for Fabric when the acts will most likely show up in some magically dirty hole full of beautiful people sooner rather than later.

a lot of people don't like the atmosphere, the wankers or how busy it gets, personally i'm a fan, the layout and decor is nice, the systems are good etc. only problem was the smoking area issue last time i went, bit of a pisser. i think you can get most of the good things about fabric at somewhere like cable though for less money, with fewer wankers... this'un for example
http://www.cable-london.com/event/cable ... ilkie-more or
http://www.cable-london.com/event/subdu ... und-system
that fabric lineup is pretty spectacular though... i'm almost afraid of going to nights where Oneman is playing now though
apparently it's corsica's 10th birthday this year and they've got some pretty interesting shit on

That Planet Mu night at Corsica just HAS to be on the same night as Subloaded, doesn't it?

True, well aslong as the system is heavy I'm going to be happy, I'll definitely avoid the "mosh pit" areas if it ends up like that, not a big fan myself. I'm hoping I get to hear Badman VIP though...
Expensive drinks ay? What's expensive? I seem to remember buying beers left and right because they're so bloody cheap in the UK!! Who ever goes we'll have a beer anyway
Anyone have some suggestions for art and museums in London? Didn't get around to any of that last time unfortunately.
EDIT: I'm guessing you can't get away with a spliff or 2 inside like you can @ System?

That Tectonic room 2 night at Fabric is part of the 13th birthday celebrations.
Saturday night goes on for 32 hours!! Ben UFO, Craig Richards & DJ Sneak already confirmed for Saturday night!
I think a beer in Fabric is like £4 to £5.

as for art, my favourite gallery in london is the courtauld gallery
http://www.courtauld.ac.uk/gallery/index.shtml really good collection of impressionist art in a nice setting, been there quite a few times
