I open an image, go to image> select> free-form section, then cut around what I want but then when I move it to where I want it (via cut/clipboard/paste) it's in a rectangle or square with the remainder of the rectangle/square being white.
I wrote that ^ out so i'm posting it but i'm going to do what you just said now.

28g/fearless, £20 y/n?
Yes, I personally would never spend that amount on two tunes, to me that is ridiculous. However, if it makes you happy and the value you place on it exceeds or is equal to the asking price then crack on. More power to you. I just can't justify paying that much for the 'warmth' that is beyond my hearing capabilities.

Re: Post Your Random Thoughts Thread!
what is the best online music store for our type of music in your opinion? boomkat, surus, junodownload, etc. which one is the best in your opinion? didn't think this deserved it's own thread, but if you were gonna make an account on one to keep up on new releases and buy digital, which would it be?
Re: Post Your Random Thoughts Thread!
Digital-Tunes.net
Everywhere else is too expensive for my liking.

Re: Post Your Random Thoughts Thread!
really the biggest thing for me is keeping up on new releases. i could always find out about a release and then buy it from another site. i just don't want to sign up for all of them and get fuckload of emails yanno? never heard of that site, does it have newsletter-type emails?
Re: Post Your Random Thoughts Thread!
I pretty much only use beatport tbh
Re: Post Your Random Thoughts Thread!
sarcasm?
a lot of releases aren't on beatport...

Oh right. Prolly Juno. Dunno. Digital-tunes isn't all that selection wise but 90p for a wav/flac certainly tickles my fancy.dubunked wrote:really the biggest thing for me is keeping up on new releases. i could always find out about a release and then buy it from another site. i just don't want to sign up for all of them and get fuckload of emails yanno? never heard of that site, does it have newsletter-type emails?

Re: Post Your Random Thoughts Thread!
from my experience.
-Beatport is just ridiculous with their pricing (and they add tax at checkout... wtf) and generally shit. But they have some exclusives
-Juno is similar but a bit better, they recently dropped their prices, which is good. + they have Suburban base back cat
-D-T is cheap, with smaller but good selection. A lot of smaller labels you won' t find anywhere else (Tes la rok's stuff, Monsta dubs)
-I like to use boomkat the most - fair prices, wide selection and pretty solid interface, the reviews are a laugh too. You have to know how to search for stuff, since search is a bit shit.
-Bleep is similar to Boomkat, they have some good old stuff (Judgement EP, Old Contagious releases). I've had some problems with downloads recently, but tech support is ace.
-Surus is similar to the two aforementioned, but i wouldn't really recommend it for the reason that the labels get sometimes dropped off the store and you lose your purchased tracks in the process.
Google Play music store has a lot of good stuff at ridiculously low prices - no lossless though. Also it says the tunes are only for personal use, which would mean no DJing but iirc, it's the same thing all around - even on beatport
