well depend of the friends i guess i woldn´t want to recover the relationship with everyone that i used to hang some years ago, but they are some of them that you still love them but just get distanced because of the situations, i think forgeting them is a big mistake.

Losing contact with mates would be rubbish. Luckily I still see everyone eventually even if they've moved away though. I'm not sure how it could be a good thing?

imo it's best not to force things. if you lose contact, move on
