yup. never had anything bad happen (not even when mixing it with other shit), just randomly falling asleep on people's couches

one of my mates at the time od'd on valium tho. dude had a prescription and used to take loads. one day he just fell on the ground and was out cold for about a day

Just saw an advert for "Stock Tips" and my first thought was "Ooh, that might be a good read before I do my next casserole."

Has anyone ever asked a colleague how they are and had a response any more truthful than "Good" or "Not too bad"?

I might start telling the truth. "Well, actually Pete, I'm fucking pissed off that I'm at my desk carrying out the orders of a cockney twat that'd make Danny Dyer sound like Oscar Wilde instead of sitting on my balcony smoking a massive bifta and getting head from Monica Bellucci... how about you? Valium binges are horrid, I ended up sleeping for a whole day and missed a gig I was meant to play that night, I was woken up by a phone call from my guitarist asking me where I was about half an hour before I was due on stage, I had no idea what was going on and I think I was sick at some point

I don't understand how you can binge on something that just makes you fall asleep?

Valiums fun but don't do them for too long. Benzos are the most addictive and have the worst withdrawal symptoms of almost any drug.

I found they didn't make me fall asleep, I was awake until about 6am but then when I did eventually fall asleep I was totally dead to the world

What kind of symptoms, worse than opiates? I doubt that.

Well i have never been addicted properly to either so cant say from personal experience. Also iirc doctors have a much stricter tapering scheme when getting patients of prescribed benzos than they do with opiates due to the withdrawals.

I've gone through serious Opiate withdrawal several times and it never came close to comparing to when I went through Benzo withdrawal from Xanax. It was by far the worst drug-related experience of my life.

Opiate withdrawals aren't life threatening, benzo withdrawals (and even alcohol withdrawals) are so i would consider benzo ones worse tbh

Opiates as such is a very broad term.

so is benzos

huh... aren't Benzos a certain type of pill?

what I meant is opiates could mean everything from an aspirin to codeine (soda) to actual heroine, so the withdrawel symptoms would vary depending on wether you take it with a bit of cream and sugar or with a needle you found under a bridge. .
