No. 'Benzo' stands for benzodiazepine, which is a class of drug typically used to reduce anxiety, seizures and relax muscles. There are just as many if not more drugs that fall under the 'benzo' name than that that fall under 'opiate'.

Also aspirin is definitely not an opiate and codeine isn't soda at least not in the western world lol.

The strongest available over the counter preparation containing codeine has 9.6 mg (with aspirin, brand name Kodimagnyl); anything stronger requires a prescription.

Kodymagnyl is just a regular pill for relieving headaches. With the potency of an aspirin.

That doesn't make any sense. Aspirin is the name of a drug, some medications combine aspirin and codeine but that doesn't mean aspirin = opiate. Aspirin is a type of drug known as an NSAID.

lol dude you cannot buy codeine in a soft drink. you can put codeine cough syrup (or pills for that matter), which you need a prescription for if you want it in a reasonable potency without a comparative fuckload of shit like aspirin or tylenol or advil (in the uk - in us u need a prescription for any amount) into a drink and call is sizzurp, but it isn't sold for the purpose of getting fucked.

oh ofcourse not mate, but the other way around, if we are talking opiate withdrawel you'd have to mention certain mild over the counter products that contain codeine. its maybe not that common in europe anymore ... .

the logic behind what is prohibited is such a complex question, because not only does it differ what people consider dangerous but there's all kinds of monopolies and trade embargos etc, so it's never just about what you try to keep out of a country (and products).

i know im the silly argumentative one now - its just the point of saying that there's withdrawel at almost any level of having dependancy issues and that they vary A LOT

sure thing man, wd'ing from codeine is not nearly as bad as lots of xanax, and wd'ing from one valium per day is nowhere near as bad as heroin, but you generally compare the worst to the worst, because people tend to take higher and higher doses, so we're comparing lots of xanax to lots of heroin, in which case lots of xanax is worse and deadly compared to lots of heroin.
