Reso - cheers for doing the Q&A!

Quick one from me: Do you duck your sub bass underneath your kick? If so, what sidechain settings do you use if you want it to be relatively inaudible?

big up reso, easily one of my favorite producers out there.......thanks for doing this

quick question; I know you use a lot of different bass sounds per tune, you have any tips on how to make different bass sounds work together in a tune and could you describe your general plan of action when composing the more intricate basslines you make????? thanks again, for this and your music

just wndering how you would go about removing that horrible high pitch frequency you sometimes get from bit crushing synths. really pisses me off that i can never get a really heavy bass sound without the horrible frequencys
thanks in advance!
big ups for doing this

Bigs up Reso for ur work !!!!!!
I've been throught the 15 pages & didn't see anything about samplerate , so here's my questions :

When resampling ( bass , fx , pads ... using delays reverb) do you do it in 24bits ?
At what samplerate do you send your finalmixdowns ?

thanxs for ur time spent on this Q&A
bless

Reso ; In "Holograms" the bass is soooooo sub but it cuts better than any other bass I have ever heard. I tested this with my monitors (the speaker my ears are most in tune with) I can cannot find any other producers who has a bass line that even comes close to this. How did you mix this bass line?

Much love.

Anneka. She also did the vocal on Starkey's tune called "Stars". Really great voice.

Sup reso thanks for doing this,
You seem like a cool guy haha, I don't really have any questions at the moment, just wanted to say i'm a big fan of your music.
When I listen to some of your songs I can tell you put a lot of effort into them and it really shows. I hear a lot of dubstep these days that gets cranked out by all these "producers". It seems like they're just following the formula of making stupidly dirty basses and not even really thinking about the overall song or music writing in general. Your music always seems to have fresh ideas that make me want to get back on my comp straight away and try stuff out. Keep up the nice work bro

Easy Reso. Love the dedication and skill you put into your work. Mad respect, some of the best tracks out there!
I just had a question on mastering. Somebody asked you about this briefly in an earlier post but I wondered who you actually use to master your tracks?
I'm aware of Transition Studios and one or two others, got anyone you'd recommend?

Also are you present during the mastering session or do you trust the people and leave them to get on with it without you there?

A friend of a friend said they knew somebody you shared a flat with (6 months or so back) and they said you are based in Finsbury Park?
I can't remember their name now. Is that true? just I live there too and I'm told a few people from Hessle Audio live round there also.

Thanks for you time

thanks reso for responding to all those questions.. i read them all and i have to say that the one thing i really learned from this whole thread is once again: make your synths / wobbles whatever.. and resample the fuck out of them! haha :)

first off bigups for doing this! youve been my favourite artist since i discovered you , i had the pleasure of meeting you at a under 16 event in brighton couple of months back where i got your autograph lol, anyway i wanted to ask about the piano/arpeggiator/whatever it noise in busted crunk that comes in after the bass part of the second drop , its soooo sick ! ive tried play it on piano with not much luck lol , how the hell did you come up with that?
