supermotorr (sorry grandma): Nice bass and bassline. I would like a phatter kick though and make the drums heavier overall. Good use of the sample, makes you remember the track. Listened to it again and the bassline is really cool! It goes very well together with that synth from the intro.
ruari89 (extraslim): Great production and I love the sample and how you've used it. I think you should evolve it even further by adding a melody on top or something but I really like how it builds up from 3:20 to the end anyhow. I also think you should do a more traditional dubstep mix of it with a heavy and reverbed snare on the 3rd beat. I believe it would fit well (I would play it) eventhough I like the experimental style you've chosen now.
TheBreadMan (tha-party-aint-ova-almost-final): The bassline and tune overall feels kind of random but the production, sounds and effects are very good for a first track. I like the bassline in the end the best. Keep it up! The same style but with the bass repeated on the same key would be cool.
nnny (nnny-bush): It's heavy, really heavy! Liking it alot but you need some better drums to fit the bass. Cool intro sample and atmosphere as well but it's kind of ruined because of the drums. A heavier snare would be great. Love the bass sound and bassline though.

@ goldorak. Love the track dude. Sounding real good.
@ rekstep. Sounding good dude. Sounds like it's missing something. Something to just fill it in a bit more. But sounding pretty dope dude.
Need some feedback on this. On the first drop, no melody. Then mid way through it I bought it in just before itll go into breakdown.
YAYS or NAYS???

bradicle: Great snare, just how I like it and nice intro. The drop is phat but the kick could be better mixed with the bass. It collides too much right now I think. The production overall is good though, great sounds and arrangement but you have some mixing to be done. I like how you used the sample in the second drop by the way, it snaps perfectly into it.
Basic A: Nice dub but I would really like a continuous (and heavy

) bass beneath it. A deep sub would do it. Sounds tight here anyway. Nothing to complain about production wise.
goldorak: Great! Just great.

Would also like a copy when you finish it. Suits my style.
rekstep: Deep. I like it. You create a good atmosphere with the sweeps in the bass and those synths. Sounds tight.
hakka: Very trancey but good. Not sure whether I like the dissonance the choir synth creates or not. Makes it more serious though. The same with the wobble, it makes it more rough and maybe that's the idea. I have to say favourite part is 2:45 to 3:13 when that supersaw hits (without the choir like in the beginning). It just sounds so good and crisp.
Here's a mix of three goa dubstep remixes I've done. All work in progress.
Yahel - Inta Omri
Astral Projection - Mahadeva
MFG - When we dream

Tell me what you think! All feedback is appreciated.

@ Grok, that compilation is BOSS. Loved the first one most. The only thing I question is the kick placement in the second one, but I'm sure that's just a matter of taste. The third one had a very Mortal Kombat feel to it :} Great work, would love to here more in the future!
Cheers

@Bradicle: Nice one! Is that a sample from The Shining? Think it definitely needs a bit more low end, and soundin a bit muddy on some of the wobble bits, a little EQ here and there and this one's goin to be a stinka!
@Hakka: Lovely synths on this, very dark, yhes yhes biig tune.
@TheBreadMan: Think the snare is hittin pretty harsh in the hi-mids, EQ and definitely get some low end, something is drowning yor kick too, where did it go!
@Ruari89: Don't know what it is, mix between minimal/2-step/grime, but it's good, production sounds clean as well.
@Supermotorr: Think this could get a fatter kick, maybe try a little bit of reverb on the snare, nice samples, finish it!
So I finally scrapped this tune I was workin on, messed about on 32bars until I was finally feelin there was flow and progression, just would like some fresh ears on this one, mostly input on frequency spectrum and balance.
Cheers.

@ HAAK, Joker off Batman

. Low end meaning on the sub? or on the actual wobble? Yea it's just the structure definitely needs work on the EQ'n side to get things sitting.
Threw the bass into compressor low end on it, messed with the mid aswell a bit, sounding a bit better. Will upload soon.

@Bradicle: Very Nice. I really like the intro. You know what it needs.....a quick cut to "Batdance" just for some humor. Of course Prince would probably come to your house and slit your throat personally, but fuck him. All kidding aside though, good stuff.
@Basic A: Really liking the intro. It builds great anticipation for what's to come. Really liking that stabby bass. It could use a bit more energy. Not a lot to mess with the entire flow of the track, but just something there to sort of guide the track along. Maybe a subtle pad or two. I think a short melody would work well. Not something to complex but something to maybe follow along with the bass. Something along the lines of what you have going on with those Skank guitar plucks but with a bit more depth to it. I think it would be great to just have short string patterns that sort of swell in at certain intervals throughout the track as well, maybe even some horn type sounds rather than strings.
@Rekstep: I like the idea you have going. It's got good potential but like you said the structure is a bit bland. It's not bad, it just needs some spicing up. Maybe some pads, variated FX sounds, things like that. So many people really underestimate the power of the Pad. Even in very subtle amounts some nice strings or something can go a really long way.
@Hakka: Dude.....excellent. It's very trancy/electro sounding with the arping melody. The use of the dirty wobble is very nice and actually contrasts really well with the more electo/trancy elements. The addition of that bassy arp is very nice. It really weighs down that light arp very well. The breathy chorus pad seems a bit out of tune with the melody though. Not sure if that was meant to be, or maybe it's just me. Either way...awesome.
@Jaydot: It feel very offbeat. Nothing really seems to flow right together. That beepy sounding synth gets a bit nerve wracking after a bit. I would definitely go back and get the timing down a bit better on the melodies, might help a lot.
@Haack:Liking the sounds. It's got a very chill feel with the wobble. It seems to flow well together. The percussion is nice, the kicks aren't to heavy to where they take away from the bass. I think balance wise it's pretty good, can't say much about frequency as I'm on some headphones. Also.....that sample in Bradicle's tune is from Batman....it's the Joker.
So here's something I started working on. It's not dubstep. Honestly, this is really just some ideas laid down into FL and I've been working on the mixing to get all these sounds to fit together better so I can go in and add more. I really don't even know exactly how I'm going to turn this into a song just yet, but I'm sure I'll get there. Suggestions are very much welcome.
