What do we do? I'm not taking sides here, and whichever way you lean politically, we aren't going to solve any of the deeper issues to this overnight, so how do we stop them now? Shit is getting too hectic.clifford_- wrote:JBoy wrote:One extreme to end another. Otherwise they're gonna fuck around and get the army called in on em.
id have thought that would of made things worse.
you two sound like the daily mail readers so many people are going on about...

The children's hospital has been attacked in Birmingham. Fuck poverty. Fuck oppression. That is entirely inexcusable. Left ring, right wing, there is no way this can be defended.
shit my man are in Penge... wonder if it's kicked off there?Gewze wrote:Bromley's on fire ive heard from fb and people that empire cinema is ablaze, primark and other shit been looted. in beckenham(my place) a bus has been set on fire apparently
COBRA was around before Blair. It just means cabinet office briefing room A.Mr Hyde wrote:PM flying back from holiday for COBRA meeting tomorrow (such a joke name, Blair- what a knob!) Wouldn't be suprised if they get the police to up their game- water cannons and rubber bullet time.
Sounds pretty normal outside.... might go and have a look.Gewze wrote:Bromley's on fire ive heard from fb and people that empire cinema is ablaze, primark and other shit been looted. in beckenham(my place) a bus has been set on fire apparently

Yeah I know man, not expecting suggestions, just saying, I can't think of a solution. They've got to be stopped though man. Like I said, smashing up a children's hospital is too far. Set curfews, get the word out, radio, internet, tv, whatever, any mans in certain areas after the curfew are gonna get wet. I don't know. Work in Aston as well, in a building chock full of computers. Be getting some speed on the way to work tomorrow!clifford_- wrote:where do you draw the line?garethom wrote:What do we do? how do you know whos who?
im not trying to offer any solutions here, thats what the government are for. but they aint providing any!
i wouldnt know what to do to be honest.
but id have thought water cannons would be used well before military action.
but they are still indiscriminate, lots of potentially innocent people could get hurt.
pressure cooker of a situation...
exactly this. it probably will do into the night...pkay wrote:Mr Hyde wrote:PM flying back from holiday for COBRA meeting tomorrow (such a joke name, Blair- what a knob!) Wouldn't be suprised if they get the police to up their game- water cannons and rubber bullet time.
One of my best friends in high school had a brother killed by a rubber bullet in the katrina looting. Here's hoping shit just dies down naturally tomorrow. Rubber Bullets and water just gonna inflame people and cause them to act dumber
