Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.

I always liked the releases of Hyperdub very much. Epic label ofcourse with Burial.
Laurel Halo - Quarantine gets good reviews on music sites and lots of love.
I can honestly say I'm an open-minded person and that also for music for sure.
But I'm not feeling that release and some of the tracks I just find awfull poppy ! (Which can be good sometimes, but here it isn't imho)
Can somebody proof me wrong ?

Not 100% sure but I think it's by MikeQ or another one of those ballroom house guys?

if you think it's poppy, then thats what you think. No one can really bend how you hear things unless you listen to it with a "this is pop music" mindset or something. Laurel Halo never did much for me, neither has Hype Williams but it's cool to see Hyperdub expand in this way regardless

Quite like that Morgan Zarate tune. Wasn't feeling the 'Hookid' release at all.

Still prefer his hip-hop/rnb stuff tbh

I fair enjoyed the Hookid EP, some of it sounded too much like the Girl Unit stuff of that time though.

Any links to his other stuff I should check?

Can't find it on youtube, but his remix of 'Clap Hands' by Frank N Dank is a sick beat.

He was in Spacek too, in case you didn't know.
