Had some Oat and Coconut pancakes for dinner last night... butter and maple syrup fairly standard for me (too lazy to break out the waffle iron.)

Doing Terang Bulan (essentially a thick sweet pancake from indonesia made with tapioca flour and coconut milk) on the 21st. So Effing tasty. Usually sweet but ima do a savory experiment, tweak my basic recipe and fold them over shredded duck and jack-fruit... maybe do a sauce of some sort as well.

Reminded me of peking duck pancakes. So. damn. nice. Looked into doing it once. Huge effort to do the duck properly

I know mate, I love Yorkshire puds, yet i still cant get my head around savoury fillings on a pancake.

I guess its like putting sugar and lemon on a Yorkshire pudding, it just wouldnt be right, would it?

as someone who can't fathom the idea of having smoked cheese on a pizza, you are in no position to tell me eggs are great

You are supposed to add Salt for Yorkshires, thats the only difference. We used to have the left over yorkshires with golden syrup and ice cream as kids so I guess it can work in reverse!

I'm high-jacking this into a Benedicts thread...
but only because I think these things would work well in your pancrepes..

Benedict Savannah
english muffin - grilled asparagus - lovely seasoned chicken breast - poached egg - hollandaise

Benedict Christopher
english muffin - tomato - bacon - smoked turkey deli slice - poached egg - hollandaise
