Bought the juleribbe today, bang bang

Bought the last two presents today.

Realised I was unexpectedly and hopelessly skint.

Remembered it was payday on Friday.

what's "skint" in the mind of an adult who goes to work and gets paid like an responsible adult does?

Maybe a £100 in the bank or less before it hits payday for me. Not that I dont have a totally seperate savings account with money if it was an emergency of some kind.
Cant say ive ever been in my overdraft and I dont even earn that much.

Skint for me is less than a tenner a day until pay day. I imagine that might seem quite quaint to London heads on here.
