Excellent night again, DMZ is and probably will be the best dubstep night I've been to! It's only been a year since my first dmz, but the vibes have definately changed. The last few I've been to I've seen people with their shirts off, people completely fucked by 11, glowsticks, people throwing stuff etc.... definately felt more like a rave than a dubstep night, especially with the lasers :o Glad they turned them off. Also with the bottle being thrown at loefah, I felt something drip on me as well, I was standing next to Blackdown and I'm pretty sure he got drenched as well, it could have been one of those festival things where people throw water to get everyone wet but just threw it a bit too hard, still a cockhead thing to do  Enough of the ranting from me though!

Out to everyone I met for the first time, and all that I've seen before! The bouncers were pretty tight this time, I aint been frisked like that since I was at an airport :o I know Mr. Blaze had something very special of his taken away by the bouncer

BRING ON JANURARY!!!!!

edit: Forgot to talk about the music

Big shouts to Harry Craze and Kutz, good debuts from both, all sets were good, that burning up tribute was pure fire, really feeling that one, Chef was dropping some really nice tunes as well, I thought I heard a Martyn - epelectic remix, sounded sick! Big up the DMZ gang, keep doing what your doing!

All this talk about vibe is subjective to be fair and I didnt spent too much time judging peoples appearence to notice how Nathan barley the night was.

my opinion of the vibe changed as soon as i started heading into the Dance via the door on the right, managed to find some space

big up Kutz for his tight debut. Chef's set was sick and I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a Skream set as much as that.

out to mr Andeson for the lift home.. appreciate it

you know what, i couldn't fuckin agree more. i had a few amusing moments where i got knocked into a couple of times by unique individuals, but it so didn't affect my enjoyment in the slightest. i firmly believe you can find your own medi in a dance regardless of how others are behaving around you - it might be a bit more challenging, but hey! it's all about how you're feeling in your own head, and it's DEFINITELY about the music first and foremost.

i know its real annoyin when peeps around arent enjoyin the music, but tbh i was far too busy enjoyin dancin at the front with my family to care for any moanin.

i had one of the best times at dmz for ages.

I dont mind how ppl look, if they are fucked by 11 or whatever, if they don't enjoy the music i don't mind (whats wrong with ppl trying the night, was my first dmz and I loved it from start to finish).

Just no acting like cocks and jumping about into people and causing aggro and I am fine.

oh and

pls, never let people with uv face paint and glowsticks into dmz, or any other night for that matter :). Have the bouncers confiscate that stuff

edit:and gazz def reaching why not, my mates dropped out for dmz, prob for this night aswell but got a ticket now, too good to miss.

nothing wrong with people being on drugs, more a problem if some people are acting stupid when on drugs

ye i agree with that aswell. this is probably the reason why i didnt even notice much of the crowd bein a bit different, was too into the tunes and was at the front most the time.

it dnt really effect ur personal experience that much, but i suppose its the icing on the cake that were used to, having that collective deep medi vibe going on.

I dunno, I think in some ways the change of crowd has slightly changed the music which means I aint enjoying the nights so much anymore. I was pretty disappointed with a lot of the sets tbh which was the main factor beyond the vibe. I wasn't thinking about what was going on around me whenever I tune I loved came on, so I guess my primary disappointment is to do with music, and secondly the crowd but I think they're factored by each other quite largely

this!! some people give me proper jokes when they are fucked, and i'm not in any position to have a dig against people who are mashed - but it can get a bit long when someone's flailing hand/elbow keeps flying into your face and they're too fucked to realise and therefore apologise/stop

yea i got tossed around a few times and elbowed and i nearly fell from people pushing to get up to the front...

but whatcha gonna do?... i usually start throwin elbows...but...i was happy to be there so its...whatev. just sucks i couldn't get my proper dancing on.
