Thanks for editing your post and pretending I wasn't just pointing out that you said 'I guarantee you will enjoy it', bro. See how far THAT gets you.

Hey all, BaconCopter here. I had dabbled in Dubstep/Drum & Bass for a while, but really got into dnb/dubstep around when Evol Intent's 8-Bit Bitch(Spor Remix) & Excision & Datsik's Swagga dropped, as my tastes have evolved I find a lot of "dub"step an obnoxious mid-range cacophony. I'm not really into having a seizure from listening to that hot new Skrillex shit, but have actually progressed backwards in time and have been obsessed with Skream! lately. My top artists are 16bit, Skream, Burial, Rusko.
I tried producing in FLstudios a couple of years ago while I was still in college, got pretty far in some songs, but my tastes have changed quite a bit since then. I'm pretty pumped to try it out again soon, maybe start DJing if I actually get some decent tracks down. I try and buy my favorite releases on vinyl, but that's sadly pretty hard for a bunch of the stuff I'm looking for.
I've been reading these boards for a while, decided to finally make an account and be a part of the community.
Cheers!

I'm a newcomer. Just moved to Charlotte, NC from a small town in New Mexico. I am 22 and an aspiring dj/mixer as a part time hobby. I am new to mixing and hope i can learn a few things from friendly people on the forum.

If you have any tips for someone just starting mixing i got Fruity Loops and could use some tips for basic beats etc... Thanks

Hmm Hello I am new comer to the forum as you could've guessed.
I'm some girl from Toronto, Canada. I'm an illustrator and graphic designer who often enthuses about music way too much. I wouldn't exactly define my tastes narrowly from dubstep however I can appreciate a broad selection of electronic music including, deep house, UK garage, tech-house, minimal and anything experimental. (anything with a slick beat really) I know this is a dub step forum but I'm not really into skillrex. Rusko is alright. Skream and Benga are pretty awesome.
I have a soft spot for old school rave such as Orbital. I also still love incredibly lame disco vocals.
I've recently become a huge fan of Ramadanman aka Pearson sound aka Maurice Donovan aka David Kennedy's endless number of alias'.
XXXY, Joy Orbison, Broke one, Modeselektor, Squarepusher, Laurel Halo, Maya Jane Coles are also producers that are taking my interest by storm. I wish I lived in London to see these talents at work. Btw I love london and how every person I've met there is into some kind of music or art. I think that's pretty awesome.
I joined the forum because I read some threads and thought, you guys seem pretty keen. Nice to see users who actually know their stuff.
I came here to find more music to download really... oh yeah check out my blogs (look at my signature) and my soundcloud. I mix music for fun on ableton, just started using it like 20 hours ago it's totally cool. I would like to produce but gosh I have a lot of creative demands that I cannot fulfill at this level. For now I will stick to what I know.
My favorite instrument is the drums.

And I wanna marry

Oh don't worry about that, he's probably the most hated producer on this forum. You'll find a lot more love for Skream, Benga and Ramadanman here. Welcome

Hey guys! I created a profile on here a month or two ago, but never used it until today, so I guess I'm a newcomer. I've been making dubstep for a good while now, and I also love electric, house, and all of that good stuff. The programs I'm familiar with are FL Studio, Ableton Live, and Reason 5. I'm trying hard to really get serious about making music, and I hope I learn a lot from this community!
